K-8 SELC School Psychologist/Counselor, ESY Program (GRANT)
POSITION OVERVIEW
To plan and provide instruction/counseling to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaboration with site coordinator
- Planning for instruction/counseling of students to maintain skills, information, or behaviors per IEP
- Daily community and employment-based travel with students
- Supervision of paraprofessionals
- Coordination of related service support
- Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers
QUALIFICATIONS-REQUIRED
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
- Mass DESE Licensure
QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED
- Experience with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs
Schedule:
- July 8, 2024 - August 1, 2024
- 9:00 - 12:00, Monday - Thursday
- Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program
- Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
