POSITION OVERVIEW

To plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills, information, and behaviors per IEP
• Supervision of teacher’s aides
• Coordination of related service support
• Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

• MASS DESE certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities, 9-12, required
• Transitions endorsement and/or transition- based experience preferred
• Teaching experience with students on the autism spectrum

Schedule:

• July 8, 2024 - August 1, 2024
• Hours dependent on caseload, Monday - Thursday
• Additional day of training prior to start of program
• Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
